Hundreds of young people protest outside Leinster House over Government’s handling of climate change

Hundreds of young people protested outside Leinster House this afternoon to voice their concerns over the Government’s response to climate change.

Climate Case Ireland organised the Children’s Rally for Climate Action to highlight the fact young and future generations stand to face the worst consequences of climate change, yet do not have the right to vote, Dublin Live reports.

Protesters gathered at The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment, where some of young representatives posted a symbolic message of concern to Minister Richard Bruton.

The crowd then moved on to Leinster House, where a number of young speakers addressed the crowd.
